Zach is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and operator with a passion for applying design innovation to disruptive products and technologies, with a mission of blending modern entrepreneurship with philanthropy in order to tackle some of the world’s most challenging issues across infrastructure, energy, human and planetary health, and national security. Some of his portfolio companies include autonomous drone and satellite technology, atmospheric water harvesting technology, intelligent and digital hydroponic ecosystems, and more.

Zach’s specialty includes ideating innovative ideas from conception or partnering with founders who have strong intellectual property. Zach works to commercialize his portfolio companies by applying scalable business principles and identifying and communicating the company’s ideal value proposition through creative branding and marketing.

Current Projects

Zach Casey is currently the co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Kilsar, a dual-use AI software platform serving the department of defense and commercial organizations within the aviation, aerospace, energy, and manufacturing industries. The Kilsar platform enables tribal knowledge capture and workforce development for aviation maintenance technicians via its platform and proprietary troubleshooting AI assistant, Orion.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Zach dedicates time to interests that bring balance and personal fulfillment. A passionate hobbyist photographer and avid world traveler, he is drawn to destinations that celebrate the outdoors, cultural exploration, and the beauty of God’s creation. He is also an aspiring musician and vocalist who enjoys writing, learning, and composing music.
